Champion Randalet Colorful Dragon

Dragon is a Tri-color, stated as "black, tan and white" in the American Japanese Chin standard. It is rare. Dragon is always happy, enthusiastic, and friendly to strangers. He weighs about 6.5 lb. He finished his AKC conformation championship on Labor Day, 9/1/2008, with a 3-point major win in Raleigh, NC. He was shown exclusively by Peggy Wilson (PHA) of Blythewood, SC.

Dragon was bred by Bill and Peggy Schnarrenberger of Randalet Japanese Chin. His heart (4/2009) and eyes (2007) are OFA-certified clear. FEW Chin have certified healthy hearts! Many Chin die before they are 10 years old of hereditary congestive heart disease, so this is really important!

Dragon just missed getting his patellas certified -- they have level 1 luxation. Still, this is a very good rating for a Chin. It means his knees can be forceably dislocated by a vet, but go back into position on their own. He is also AKC DNA profiled. Dragon now lives with his show handler, Peggy Wilson, in South Carolina.
